Fascinating reads, one can appreciate the very organic manner of innovation i.e. the “Tukan” system. The mobile and stationary multi-tasking cranes have to be the most widely ignored technological development concerning the collective awareness of laymen, asides from the tradesmen and engineers themselves of course – the most widely ignored people by the general populous and most widely blamed by luddites if something goes awry, what a life.

Also semi-related to your article of “Very German” engineering.

The steel mill is fascinating! As a child, I saw it as a symbol of industrialization and a example of something “anti-nature” at the same time (as human raping the planet or something from Lord of the Rings). Watching a nuclear power plant, would have been to sterilised to trigger that feeling (until Chernobyl). I wish, that I could visit a big old fashioned steel mill or any steel mill.

Interesting story. Some people just see a problem and then solve it. Very white and germanic.

Where there is a will there is a way, or more accurately where there is a European/Germanic brain there is always a solution. The Steel Foundry is very much a symbol of those very things for better or worse and where there is ill it can be resolved by other means just like any technology. I believe the primary negative image of industry is in fact the aforementioned disasters coupled with a very generalized manner of fear mongering.

However the way I currently see it globalization has made high technology dangerous. I believe such developments can be handled responsibly so long as these achievements are not handed over to other groups.

I.e. The Uruk’hai from the Lord of Rings being a destructive industrial force, the Orcs representing a corrupted or foreign presence, the later most refers to advanced high-technological systems being appropriated by outsiders
        and utilized irresponsibly.

The American equivalent of the Krupp Steelworks in scale and fame would have to be The Carnegie and Bethlehem Steelworks in Pennsylvania another very largely German Ethnic state, even now informally coined as “The Pretzelreich”.

I agree! The Uruk’hai are like China, Russia etc. Raping and destroying the planet, with technology they would never have created themselves.

You hit the nail right on the head! Chernobyl only happened because Slavic orcs poorly reverse engineered a Nuclear reactor, they literally turned cooling rods into firing pins! I don’t even have to mention the Chinese. Added every Russian and Asiatic invention is just a second hand copy of something German, British or French.

        The German BMW Zundapp Motorcycle

        The Russian Ural-T Patrol Motorcycle

The Soviets literally took entire BMW factories, tore out the German rail lines and stole all the steel, brick – raw materials, and schematics along with enslavement of brilliant German men at the cost of either you work or go to the Gulag, those who chose enslavement were worked to death, those who chose Gulag were worked to death. Even a certain famous Norwegian’s favorite car is nothing more than a very bad copy of the British Landrover.

Sorry to repeat myself, but also the way Russia dump scrap reactors from u-boats in the arctic ocean.
And the way they pollute even more than Nigeria, in their hunt for oil and gas.

Good point. BMW is only one out of many, crane builder, ship builder, airplane builder, rocket builder etc. etc. etc.

Russia also dumped Nuclear components into the Pacific ocean from their failed Star Wars “Polyus” program during the 1980s, Psychologically speaking Russians have an Asiatic mental process and many are just as lacking in compassion as Orientals. Lastly we’ve already discussed high technology in the hands of Non-Europeans but not the inverse techno-phobic sentiment. It is a very convoluted and Autistic manner to reject everything and improperly determine a conclusion based upon 1) a purely emotional sentiment. 2) Placating blame upon the wrong party/aspects. i.e. Oh’s it’s just those evil less than Neanderthal Germans and their industrial death machines, we need to return to the bronze age to fix everything.

Reminds me of a contemporary example mid 1970s Cambodia. Polpot determined modality was sick so he sought out to kill all the engineers, scientists, doctors and technicians in order to regress into a pre-industrial condition. Of course he retained only automotive mechanics who were then forced to work for him at gunpoint. As he would need repairmen for tanks and military tech. I’d like to note that this is what happens when an asiatic brain is left to run amok, clearly this will never happen among a cohesive European demographic we are very different. Varg has stated on Thulean perspective that he needs Non-Europeans people on the side of Odalists. That is a terrifying thought to contemplate however I don’t think they’re fully aware enough to fully amass such a movement outside of barbaric romanticism.
