About 2:40 “50 tanks headed his way”, they “only” knocked out 22 tanks. But stopped the Soviet forces at the German flank. Yes, I too think the title is ‘click bait’

So even if the cost ratio of the two types of tanks is 22;1, an investment in a King Tiger is still a better one as:
a- You don’t lose your crews,
b- They become more experienced,
c- You get tremendous moral boost.
I think that the investment in King Tigers was a good one for the circumstance.

I believe so, too. There were just not enough of them.
It was build as an offensive weapon and did well as a defensive weapon.
One problem was, that the Tiger was not ment to travel a lot. But it had to move, to where it was needed. Properly very often.
