Dragon – The First Helicopter to Cross the English Channel

The Germans used helicopters in WW2, and built the most advanced and powerful machines that saw active service at the front. After the surrender, one Focke-Achgelis Fa. 223 ‘Dragon’ undertook a record breaking crossing of the English Channel from France to Britain. Find out the full story here.
