Large fine for transport operator for the employment of foreigners without authorisation

A transport company from Greve became the 13th. June 2019 at the Court of Roskilde fined DKK 350,000 for violation of the Aliens Act on the Employment of foreigners without a residence and work permit.

Three Ukrainian citizens were employed by a transport company in Greve since, respectively, April, May and July 2018 until 14 September. November, when the company was visited by the authorities. It ended with the expulsion of the three men and a large fine for the company.

The three workers had neither a residence permit nor a work permit and were therefore arrested and charged with illegal residence and work. After a few days, the three Ukrainian citizens were sentenced to deportation of Denmark with an entry ban for two years.
