Did Hitler delay Kursk because of Tigers & Panthers?

Did Hitler delay Operation Zitadelle (Citadel), because we wanted that the new Tiger and Panther tanks could be used in the operation? Is this true or just another World War 2 myth?

There is a recurring error – one that I committed on my own during Tankfest 2018 – namely that Operation Zitadelle / the Battle of Kursk (1943) was stopped by Hitler since the Allies invaded Sicily (Operation Husky). So, we ask Dr. Roman Töppel to make sure we get it right this time.
