A 55-year-old man, a Romanian national, was sentenced to four months ‘ unconditional imprisonment and expulsion with an entry ban of six years for theft and data fraud at the court in Sønderborg (Denmark).
The 55-year-old had been arrested in Finland on an international arrest warrant and subsequently handed over to the foreign control department West (UKA Vest) of the South Jutland police who have investigated the case.
The complicit woman, a 40-year-old Romanian citizen, was also sentenced to four months ‘ unconditional imprisonment and expulsion with an entry ban for six years for the two thefts, as well as data fraud, at the court in Sønderborg in April.
