Three Romanian men have been sentenced at Kolding Court to two years and three months in prison for several burglaries and attempted burglaries, cutting through the roof of electronics stores to steal computers and other equipment.
The three men, aged between 28 and 30, were arrested on December 21.
At the same time, German police contributed to the investigation when, during a routine check of a car, they found several stolen computers that stemmed from a burglary in Skødstrup (Denmark) in August, when thieves ran away with computers worth 3.5 million kroner. The computers had been sent to Romania, where the plan was for them to be sold. It turned out that the senders of the computers were the three men who had been arrested in Vejle.
In addition to the burglary in Skødstrup and the attempted burglary in Vejle, the men were convicted of stealing hundreds of thousands of kroner from a warehouse in Svenstrup, just as they were convicted of an attempted burglary in Søften near Hinnerup and in Nørresundby.
