A 52-year-old Lithuanian man has been remanded in custody at a preliminary hearing at the Court in Sønderborg until 31 August. The 52-year-old man has been charged with theft and burglary of 15 bicycles, including several branded bicycles.
The investigation into the crime scenes is not yet complete, but for the time being it is clear that four of the bikes were stolen in Aalborg and that one of the bikes was stolen in Aarhus in July.
The Lithuanian man was arrested by German police near Flensburg. He was arrested on July 9. with the bikes and was subsequently handed over to Immigration Control West earlier this week.
