A great example of how related Germanic people really are.
I like to mention, that Danish ladies are normally not that “dark”.

Do you ever listen to anything in Old Norse? There’s some songs I have in ON, always sends a shiver down the spine. Also, the band Heidevolk sings in Dutch. They sing about Heathen Gods, revolt against Rome among other things.

No not really, I haven’t thought of that.
Do you like to share a song or two?

Yup. I’ll get you links later. Wodsn Heerst, Krigsvolk are good. Vulgaris Magistralis … But I’ll think of more after work. I’ve been going through all my old Folk, Neofolk and Folk Metal CDs. As to Old Norse, Faun does a few… I really like their song “Egil.”

Oh, hey, as I’m archiving old CDs – Sorten Muld “2 Sisters,” and Annbjørg Lien “Loki” are good. From the NorthSide records compilation “Nordic Roots 2.” Den File “den Blå Slåtten” is good too, on Nordic Roots 1.

I have listen to two videos of Sorten Muld “2 Sisters,”. It sounds okay, very mordern. But a little “muddy”, it’s hard for me to hear what she sings, other than Danish.

Me too. I don’t normally do techno. I just liked the one song.

I don’t understand Annbjørg Lien “Loki”, a little too much screaming for my taste.
