I guarantee that the people who talk about Russian minority as a justification for Russian invasion, couldn’t care less about Russian and Polish invasion of real White homelands.
Poland is the country where most immigrants come from in UK, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Denmark and number two in Germany (Russia number three).
“those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it”
We should not allow Jews and Slavs to divide us!

Conversely if I try and make “stand with Iceland” a big thing, folks are going to think I’m loopy. And yet ‘stand with Ukraine’ has very obviously replaced ‘be afraid of germs’ as the battlecry of the virtue signaller. I will say, everybody here has their panties in a wad about Russia being bad for maybe the wrong reasons.
End of day, I think it’s just another puppet war that nobody West of anywhere good should get sucked into. But at least the “war is good for the economy” crowd hasn’t made themselves heard for a New York minute.

You are absolutely right. They are the reason to why the NPC meme never gets old!
True, they properly know just as little about Iceland as they do Ukraine.

Probably less. Oh man, I do like some of the Ukraine NPC memes coming out. I’ve told you about Eimskip – Maine has a good seafaring relationship with Iceland, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single Icelander come off one of those barges. And I do, so very much, appreciate seeing Eimskip boats outnumbering the Ching Chong boats.

As I understand it’s usually only officers, head of machine, etc. that are Danes on Danish ships away from Denmark. Because of salaries. I imagine, it’s the same on Islandic ships.

Interdasting. I was pouring through books and I stumbled across a Danish naval history book from the 1950s the other day. I can’t read it yet, but it’s something I bought at a yard sale as a boy. I suppose English is like that, but I can see s big difference between everyday Danish and technical Danish.

The same with English, usually not as easy!
Funny that you bought it as a boy.

It was the epigenetics. The whatever percent of smørreblød I have made me do it and I didn’t even know. I’ve actually got a small hoard of doodads I’ve picked up that I normally wouldn’t, that turned out to be Danish. Of course, now when I see Danish things I’m more readily inclined to snatch them up.

Is Danish standing out very clearly, now!
